Responsible for: water animation and camera moves

I worked on this in a partnership, where we represented the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal of Clean Water and Sanitation. This was made as part of a collaboration, where sixteen clips each represented a goal and they flowed into the next. The group before us tackled gender equality, so that's where our starting point is, and we eventually end on our water goal symbol.

I loved creating this lip sync piece! I used audio from the song "Feed Me" from Little Shop of Horrors (1986) and had my cat demanding food.

Responsible for: background elements, hot air balloon barrel machine and pilot

This was another collaborative piece. In this clip, I created the background and the machine made out of a barrel and a hot air balloon. The other three flying machines seen were created by other animators, and we were tasked with including them in our piece to create a flying machine race.

As you can tell, I find great inspiration in my cat, Sootie. This is a short animation playing with the cute, softness of my kitty juxtaposed with the idea of breathing fire.

Another short with our flour sack friend, but this time I wanted to combine these techniques with those of water and a splash effect, so the Flour Sack Dive was born.

The floursack is a great way to work on figure and walk-cycle skills without spending too much time on figure details. This piece plays with different expressions and movements the sack can accomplish.
